Conservate Republican for Lubbock County Commissioner – Precinct 2 Grounded in Faith. Guided by Service Focused on Results.

About Kevin

Lifetime Servant. Trusted Leader. Conservative Voice for Our County.

Kevin Pounds has a spent a lifetime showing up with it mattered most. As a Battalion Chief with Lubbock Fire Rescue, Kevin didn’t make speeches or go after headlines – he made decisions that saved lives.  Whether it was leading in crisis, managing retirement funds with integrity, or mentoring local youth in agriculture, Kevin’s entire life has been defined by one thing: service over self

He's not running for a title. He’s running to deliver results.

A fourth-generation Lubbock County native, Kevin’s roots run deep in the Acuff, Idalou, and Roosevelt communities. He’s a graduate of Roosevelt High School, South Plains College, and Angelo State University. He and his wife, Tammy, have raised three sons with the same conservative values they were raised with: faith, family, hard work, and personal responsibility.

Now Kevin’s ready to take that same servant’s heart and team-first mindset to the Commissioner’s Court.

Kevin’s Priorities

Why Kevin’s Running
